Today we lost another five soldiers in Afghan GBNF

3 to a green on blue incident (1 from 2/14 QMI, 1 from 6 RAR and 1 an Engineer).

2 SF (SASR or CDO's) in Helo crash.

Trip in to southbank

Southbank never been there before and I've lived back in Melb for 12 yrs.  Hopefully today and tomorrow I can get a ride before my operation.    I will be off the road for at least 6-8 weeks, and I'm fighting DVA tooth and nail.

Lessons learnt

My Stepson learnt a hard lesson today, destroyed one rim and badly damaged another of his brand new set of wheels.   I wasn't speeding when I lost control.
